Chris Insoll studied at Chelsea School of Art and Falmouth School of Art before establishing his practice in Portscatho, in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula on the South Cornish Coast.

His work has been exhibited extensively across the UK and Europe in both solo and group exhibitions. A passionate advocate for the arts in Cornwall, Chris founded the Portscatho Society of Arts in 1984, playing a key role in promoting regional artistic talent.
