Jerónimo Villa grew up immersed in artistic practice through his sculptor father and fashion designer mother, a lineage that shaped his early experimental approach to art. His early career in  carpentry solidified his relationship with sandpaper and wood, which became central to his practice.

Jerónimo reclaims discarded and forgotten objects, encountering them instinctively in public spaces and transforming their lost function into poetic structures. His work explores themes of impossibility, time, and death, treating materials as witnesses to erosion, memory, and human presence.

Through sculpture, painting, and assemblage, he constructs works that suspend objects between life and decay, turning scars and material fatigue into quiet narratives of nostalgia, transformation, and enduring beauty.
